A summer garden wedding can seem like a difficult feat to pull off, but my couple Lauren and Caio did a beautiful job of it. They chose the Weaver House in Weaverville, North Carolina for their venue and it inspired me to write this blog!

Things To Keep In Mind

If your dream is to have a summer wedding, there’s certain things to be mindful of due to the time of year. Here’s a few of my tips!

Keeping Cool: There’s many things you can do in order to keep yourself and your guests cool during a summer wedding. If your ceremony is outdoors, pick an area with shade. If you choose to use a tent, make sure to rent AC units. Or you can get the best of both worlds by having an indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception!

Breathable Clothing: When choosing your wedding dress and/or tuxedo, make sure you go with a more breathable fabric so you don’t risk overheating or sweat stains.

Light Colors: In terms of wedding party attire, flowers and more - be mindful of the color choices. Summer wedding color palettes tend to use lighter and brighter colors like oranges, yellows, light blues and of course, white!
